Grade 6509 is formulated to secure fine wires and components during assembly, curing quickly under UV light. Key engineering properties include fast tack upon UV exposure, controlled rheology (no slump), low exotherm, non-conductive composition, and clean handling characteristics for automation. Unlike full-strength structural adhesives, tacking adhesives provide just enough bond strength to hold components in place while enabling later assembly steps such as soldering, overmoulding, or potting.
